Business Analyst and AI Translator

We are looking for a Business Analyst / AI Translator to bridge the gap between business

stakeholders and AI/technical teams. In this role, you will play a key part in defining, validating, and

enhancing Generative AI and chatbot solutions.

You will remain involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, from ideation and requirements

gathering to testing, implementation, and continuous improvement, ensuring that solutions deliver

tangible business value.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements & Analysis

• Analyze business challenges and translate them into clear, structured requirements for AI

and chatbot solutions.

• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews across various departments, including

business, IT, operations, and customer-facing teams.

• Challenge, refine, and validate requirements to ensure they are realistic, measurable, and

aligned with business objectives.

• Document functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.

AI & Chatbot Initiatives

• Collaborate closely with AI specialists, developers, and product owners to clarify business

needs and priorities.

• Act as the link between business and technical teams, ensuring effective communication and

mutual understanding.

• Participate actively in the testing and validation of AI applications, including chatbots and

conversational interfaces.

• Identify functional gaps, usability issues, and opportunities for improvement.

• Ensure solutions meet business expectations and quality standards.

Stakeholder Management & Communication

• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates on scope, progress, risks, and

dependencies.

• Prepare and maintain clear project documentation and reporting.

• Present findings, recommendations, and solution options to both technical and non-technical

audiences.

• Facilitate decision-making by translating complex concepts into actionable insights.

Continuous Improvement

• Gather feedback from users and stakeholders to optimize AI solutions over time.

• Support the definition and monitoring of KPIs and success metrics for AI initiatives.

• Contribute to the development of best practices and governance frameworks related to AI

and Generative AI.

• Promote continuous learning and innovation within the organization.

Planning & Coordination

• Build and maintain planning activities for AI-related initiatives in line with overall project

priorities.

• Define, monitor, and report on key milestones and deliverables.

• Coordinate closely with project managers and delivery teams to ensure alignment on

timelines, scope, and dependencies.

• Follow up proactively with development and AI teams to identify bottlenecks and mitigate

delivery risks.

Your Profile

Experience

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Product Owner,

or similar role.

• Experience working in complex business environments with multiple stakeholders.

• Proven ability to translate business needs into practical and actionable solutions.

Language Skills

• Fluent in both Dutch and French, spoken and written.

• Professional working proficiency in English.

Interest in AI

• Strong interest in Generative AI, chatbots, and conversational technologies.

• Comfortable exploring AI tools and understanding their capabilities and limitations.

• Curious about how AI can improve customer experiences, operational efficiency, and

business processes.

• Experience working on chatbot, virtual assistant, or Generative AI projects.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.

• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.

• Basic understanding of APIs, data flows, and AI/ML concepts (coding experience is not

required).
