Description of the Task
Within the framework of the activities of the Signalling Design Platform, client’s ICT is looking for a
Senior Project Leader to manage ICT projects and packages related to ETCS, signalling infrastructure
and/or signalling maintenance.
In close collaboration with the Business Project Leader, you are responsible for the ICT component of
internal projects (Agile/Scrum/SAFe, sometimes with safety requirements) and/or solutions
delivered by external partners or the business (packages).
Internal projects mainly follow a hybrid approach (Scrum SAFe + Manage Project/PMBOK), ensuring
proper steering, reporting and compliance with standards (including EN 50.128).
You are responsible for the coordination of teams, respecting scope, budget and planning,
monitoring activities (planning, costs, incidents), communication with stakeholders, and the
organisation of steering committees and gate meetings.
For packages, you manage the suppliers with the support of the business, ensure compliance with
release management and the integration of the package (cybersecurity, infrastructure, architecture)
into client’s application landscape.
You are also responsible for technical documentation, the CMDB and the management of supplier
relationships.
The desired profile is autonomous, structured and communicative, with a strong business and user
orientation and a pronounced Agile and team-oriented mindset.
Accurate and flexible, the Project Leader works in a demanding environment (quality, cybersecurity,
safety) and actively contributes to continuous improvement, while complying with the ISO9001,
ISO27001 and, where applicable, EN50.128 standards.
Technical Skills
• Knowledge of Dutch or French (C1: complex proficiency)
• Knowledge of English: understand, write and read (B2: upper-intermediate level)
• At least passive knowledge of Dutch or French other than Skill 1 (B1: intermediate level)
• Experience in project management (L3: at least 5 years of experience)
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum (L2: at least 2 years of experience)
• Knowledge of PMI and/or PMBOK and/or PRINCE2 (L3: at least 5 years of experience)
• Knowledge of ITIL (L2: at least 2 years of experience)
• Knowledge of Cybersecurity (L2: at least 2 years of experience)
• Knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) (L1: at least some experience)
• Experience in the integration of “third-party” solutions (L2: at least 2 years of experience)
• Knowledge of Jira (L2: at least 2 years of experience)
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure (Linux and/or Windows, etc.) and networks in order to be
able to discuss with, challenge and understand technical experts in the field (L1: at least
some experience)
