Java Backend Developer – Azure & Event-Driven Architecture

We are looking for a Medior/Senior Java Backend Developer to join a project within a modern Azure

cloud environment. You will work on backend solutions using Java and Spring, with a strong focus on

scalable, event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust backend applications using Java and Spring.

• Build and maintain batch-processing solutions using Spring Batch.

• Work within a Microsoft Azure environment, using services such as Azure DevOps, Azure

SQL, Cosmos DB, Event Hub and Redis.

• Design and implement event-driven solutions and integrations.

• Work with event streaming technologies, including Kafka concepts implemented through

Azure Event Hub.

• Collaborate with other developers and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable

solutions.

Profile

• Several years of experience in Java backend development.

• Strong knowledge of Spring and ideally Spring Batch.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application development.

• Knowledge of SQL, Cosmos DB, Event Hub and Redis.

• Experience with event-driven architectures and event streaming.

• Familiarity with Kafka is a strong plus.

• Experience working in an Azure cloud environment is highly preferred.

• Analytical, pragmatic and capable of working independently within a technical team.
