• You analyze and decide on credit requests for Belgian and Luxembourg customers; these include the self-employed, SMEs and large companies, financial institutions and insurers, as well as non-profit organizations, government risks, etc,
• You complete the basic information provided, write the credit sheet yourself and take a responsible position,
• You assume an important role as a second decision-maker in the 4-eye principle,
• You write and advise client files (groups) to be submitted to the various decision making committees within the corporate banking departments
• You actively contribute to the constructive cooperation with Sales, without losing sight of the risk aspects
• You act as support for the Credit team leader and the Risk Manager: this also means that you can be deployed to a limited extent for other credit risk related tasks within the company
• You steer the planning of the daily operations, manage the mailbox and look for opportunities to optimize the functioning of the department.

Responsibilities 

• You preferably have a financial-economic education, if not certainly the necessary knowledge accumulated through experience
• Good knowledge of credit analysis and experience as a credit analyst or decision maker are a must
• Knowledge of / experience in (car) leasing and a healthy interest in the car and bicycle industry are pluses
• Other spoken languages than English needed
• You speak and write fluently in Dutch, French and (to a lesser extent)
